Organizing Craft Supplies with Mini Crates

WH Jan 2018

Happy New Year!  January is here, and I’m knee deep into organizing everything.  My number one goal this year is to try to keep my craft area clean and organized.  I’m going to start small, and today I created this simple way to keep your craft supplies organized.

I wanted to start with things I tend to reach for every day.  Scissors, ink pads, pens, pencils, etc.  Walnut Hollow had the perfect solution – mini crates.   This project was really simple.  You only need a few items to get started.

Supplies:

– paint | foam brushes

mini crates

– mason jars (optional)

Simply paint your crates and let dry.  Add your craft items. I used mason jars to hold smaller items like pens and pencils.  You could also use them to hold paperclips and binder clips.

Organizing doesn’t need to take a lot of time or cost lots of money.   Have a great time, and if you can, add lots of your favorite colors.  Make your space amazing and something that works well for you so you will create beautiful things.
