There’s something about a fairy door that is so magical. My imagination races with all possibilities wondering what could be on the other side. These are so fun and I wish these were around when I was younger. Most fairy doors are placed on baseboards in a child’s room. I have a group of succulents and I wanted to a great way to display them. With just a little paint and a great natural wooden base from Walnut Hollow, I came up with a fun twist to display a fairy door.
You only need a few supplies to get started. Here we go.
Supplies – Fairy door, I found one at my local craft store
– Paint
– Paint Brushes
– Walnut Hollow Basswood Country Round
– Permanent Adhesive
– Plants or succulents
1. I painted the door. I used a metallic paint so I needed three coats for great coverage 2. I then glued the fairy door onto the Basswood Country Round and arranged my succulents.
3. Display
