Hello Spring Sign Supplies:

- Walnut Hollow Framed Sign, Rectangle
- Paint and Stain
- Hello Spring Printable Letter Guide
- Artificial Flowers
First, Paint or stain your Rectangle Framed Sign. I stained the frame of my sign with a dark walnut stain, and then painted the sign itself white. I like the simple, contrasting shades! You can paint or stain your sign background however you wish to match it to your decor and personal style. Allow the sign to dry completely.
While the sign is drying, paint or stain your Mason Jar Shape. I used a soft baby blue color to paint my jar and added some silver paint to the top rim. Allow the jar to dry completely before moving on to the next steps.
Add the Hello Spring letters to your mason jar.
You can do this in several different ways. You can copy and import the pdf into the software of any cutting machine, and cut the letters out. You can also print it, and use graphite transfer paper to copy the text onto your jar, then paint or even wood-burn the letters into the shape. I chose to cut the letters out using a cutting machine and some vinyl.
Glue the mason jar shape to the bottom center of your rectangle sign. You can use wood glue or hot glue for this step. I used hot glue.
Use hot glue to attach artificial flowers above the mason jar shape to appear as though they’ve been arranged inside the mason jar. I used pretty blue and white flowers, but you can use any kind of flower you want!
Flip your sign over, and attach a length of ribbon to the back of the sign so you can hang it on your door.
If you decide you would rather hang your new sign on a wall instead, you can attach hanging hardware instead.
Hang your fun new Spring sign on your front door (or wall!) and it’s sure to make those who visit you smile!
Is it springtime yet where you live?
